The new Sunflower Medical Office Building and Urgent Care is located at the northeast corner of Roe Ave and Johnson Drive in Roeland Park, KS. Opened in Spring of 2021, the new facility is a two-story, 30,000-square-foot building with two parking lots. Sunflower Medical Group relocated from their current location at 58th and Nall in Mission, KS. The property sits adjacent to the St. Luke’s Community Hospital that opened in 2018 and the Mission Gateway development, currently under construction.
RIC provided civil engineering, landscape architecture, and land surveying services for the project. Specifically, our scope of work included an ALTA and topographic survey, final plat, legal descriptions and exhibits, preliminary and final development plans, landscape plans, a stormwater study/report, sanitary sewer relocation and a traffic impact study. We are working with a great team on this project including ACI Boland Architects, Bob D. Campbell & Co., CBC Real Estate Group, Monarch, and Smith & Boucher Engineers.
