Chip Corcoran has significant experience with participating and leading project teams responsible for site civil, entitlements and development, federal aid planning studies and construction projects, county-wide infrastructure planning and development, public transportation systems, stormwater management, and regional transportation planning and processes.
Chip’s experience in a broad cross-section of public projects has given him unique insight into federal, state and local requirements, financing mechanisms and innovative public involvement activities. Chip also has extensive experience and contact with local governing bodies, advisory boards and appointed task forces. This experience includes staffing, facilitating and making presentations to these groups.
During Chip’s tenure with Johnson County, he facilitated the development of the SMAC program, its policies and procedures. He served as the program’s first Stormwater engineer.
